Project Validation

L.C.F. ENGINEERING carries out validation activities for architectural and engineering projects in accordance with Article 42 of Legislative Decree 36/2023 (Italian Public Contracts Code) and Annex I.7, which regulate the procedures and contents of preliminary verification activities prior to project validation.
The purpose of these activities is to assess the completeness, consistency, and compliance of project documentation with current regulations, technical requirements, and project objectives, thereby contributing to risk reduction, cost control, and overall construction quality.
L.C.F. ENGINEERING operates under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system, ensuring structured procedures, traceability of controls, and continuous process improvement. In compliance with current regulations, the Laboratory is authorized to perform verification and validation activities for projects up to the thresholds established for external entities holding suitable quality certification.

In recent years, projects validated include:

  • Province of Ferrara: Restoration and seismic upgrading of the Estense Castle in Ferrara.
  • CACIP: Revamping of the physico-chemical treatment plant at the Macchiareddu environmental platform.
  • CADF: Construction of a new 6,000 t/year sludge drying plant at the Comacchio wastewater treatment facility.
  • Municipality of San Pietro in Casale: Demolition and reconstruction of the “Casa sull’Albero” nursery school.
  • Municipality of San Pietro in Casale: Integrated contract for new residential facilities for the elderly – a complex urban regeneration initiative in San Pietro in Casale.
  • CIP Sassari: Construction of a treatment plant for non-hazardous liquid waste in Porto Torres.
